April 2008 – Joe's Shrimp

 

Joe’s Shrimp

 

Ingredients:

1.        1 lb Jumbo Shrimp

2.        2 T Olive oil

3.        1 T Lemon juice

4.        1 t Chili powder

5.        2 T LA hot sauce

6.        1 Lime

 

Directions:

1.        Peel & de-vein shrimp (butterfly if you would like to)

2.        Rinse, pat dry and put in a bowl

3.        Mix all the ingredients EXCEPT the lime and add to the shrimp

4.        Toss the shrimp well to coat, cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes

5.        Grill for 2-3 minutes per side on high heat

6.        Squeeze the lime's juice over all the shrimp right before you take them off the grill
